Bae's in "The Bay"

Isaiah Hill

Our trip to San Francisco was nothing short of awesome. We were attracted to "The Bay" area because of the weather, the food, the beautiful scenery and of course, the cannabis culture. We were also celebrating Isaiah's birthday! Our trip definitely meet our expectations in regards to  all of those qualities.  Read below for some highlights of the trip.

Halloween Beer Crawl - It was our first time doing a beer crawl, and it was cool.... plus it was Halloween so we got to dress up. A beer crawl is the act of drinking in multiple pubs or bars in a single night ), normally travelling by foot or public transport to each destination and occasionally by cycle. There was so many people and the drink specials were pretty good! We dressed up as " Partners in Crime".

Muir Woods- Muir Woods National Monument is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco. It’s known for its towering old-growth redwood trees. Trails wind among the trees to Cathedral Grove and Bohemian Grove, and along Redwood Creek. That air was so crisp- we never experienced anything like it before. Absolutely breathtaking.

La Note - La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant in the heart of downtown Berkeley. The food was absolutely delicious! We went here for brunch and mimosas. Between the both of us, we ate strawberry covered pancakes, rosemary home fries, scrambled eggs with Goat cheese, a grapefruit and a mango mimosa, and roasted tomatoes.

Boudin Bakery- Known as "The Original San Francisco Sourdough", they bake their  sourdough fresh every day using the same mother dough cultivated from a gold miner’s sourdough starter. We went their for lunch and got the freshest clam chowder we ever tasted in their signature sourdough bowl. We also sipped on Anchor Steam Beer,  an authentic San Francisco craft-brewed lager.
